Feeds from Microbiome Bloggers
These are a few of my favorite bloggers who write about the microbiome, symbioses, eco-evo-devo, and the like. Not all of their posts are on these topics, but these are the folks I watch for breaking news and for in-depth stories: Ed Yong at The Atlantic, Carl Zimmer at The New York Times, and Jennifer Frazer at Scientific American.

Some of these writers are not keeping up a blog presence. Carl Zimmer, for example, keeps threatening to update and expand his blog The Loom, but it hasn't happened. You can keep up with his New York Times articles at Matter. There are many other wonderful writers and bloggers who cover these stories. For example, Tina Hesman Saey at Science News is also excellent. Unfortunately, there is no feed of her pieces alone. See the Science News Headlines feed on the Science Blogs page. If you do nothing else, please subscribe to Ed Yong's wonderful newletter, The Ed's Up. Ed not only lets readers know about his own articles, but gleans the best science writing from the Web each week. |
